Unlike other likeminded sites that rehash the same “top ten” lists of haunted houses throughout the country without having actually been to them, we have cobbled one together in the most egalitarian way we know how – populism. True to our word we have ranked the following haunted houses based on the number of times people suggested them. Number One was suggested the most. We have included all haunted houses that were suggested. This doesn’t mean that the stalwarts on this list shouldn’t be included; it is just that no one wrote them in for various reasons.
Of course this brings the obvious question, isn’t this an easy game to rig? The answer is yes! But we’re pretty good at knowing who is legit and who isn’t. We would like for this list to grow, so make sure that you let us know your top two favorite haunted houses in the country and we will rank them accordingly! If you don’t give us two we will discard your entry.
