submitted at Jun 24, 2008 at 11:07 AM by Marissa C.

A 10-foot Python was found slithering up a toilet at posh apartment building in Darwin, Australia.

The tenants of the apartment were given the shock of their lives when they discovered the stinky snake while trying to use the bathroom.

Chris Peberdy, a reptile wrangler, was called to rescue the snake. He admits he was “pretty shocked” to see the snake coming up out of the toilet. It is not so unusual to see a frog or small lizard, but a 10-foot python is quite extraordinary, he said.

Luckily the snake was not poisonous, just scary. There were no other …(read more)
