- We are part of Active Acres Haunted Farm, along with Sleepy Hollow Hayride. Sleepy Hollow Hayride takes you through 230 acres of beautiful farmland haunted by a headless horseman and many other feared parts of a working farm. Each wagon is even chased by farm equipment. The House in the Hollow's theme is Paynes Asylum, an asylum overseen by Dr. Paynes in 1910 and then was killed on the property and no suspects were arrested. Payne's Asylum, guests are requested to first fill out a form describing your 13 fears. At the admitting room, each group is actually given a Chart for their stay.. Inside the asylum you meet doctors, nurses and an assortment of unusual patients. Many guests will hear their name in our cemetery. We are even set up to allow us to have people who have waited outside (often because they are too scared) appear as ghosts or apparitions to the rest of their group inside the house. We are in the entertainment business year round. Its what we do; it is what we like to do. Although Halloween is a special time of year for us, our staff stays busy the rest of the year helping to entertain people with stage shows, concerts, parties and film projects. Our paramount goal is for people to have a safe, enjoyable and memorable time. We put smiles on people’s faces, albeit sometimes they are very nervous smiles.

- We have been in the theatre business for 25 years. This is our 19th year hunting. Otherwise we are producing Theatre and doing high tech for opera and theatre.
